Workshop Description

This workshop is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the funding process and provide helpful insights to ensure a successful application.

Let us get something out of the way- Grant Writing is no fun. It is tedious, repetitive and excruciatingly detailed. Yet it is the lifeblood of most organizations. Sustainability for many non-profits, is entirely dependants on funding. As such, this workshop emphasizes proven best practices for proposal writing such as developing program content, aligning program objectives, establishing organizational capacity and budgeting.

The workshop also breaks down the multiple different sources of funding available and the most optimal strategies to approach each application. Different funders have varying mandates, while we can apply for the same program through different funding stream, we should not be submitting virtually the same application to all of them.

It is in the nuances that makes an application successful. Let this workshop show you how!
