Workshop Description:

It is important to remember that depression is an emotional state- it is not who you are! Depression is a negative affective state, ranging from unhappiness and discontent to an extreme feeling of sadness and pessimism that interferes with daily life. 


In the workplace, depression can manifest itself as low mood, apathy, withdrawing from social activities and challenges communicating. 


Through the utilization of best practice techniques from Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Polyvagal Theory; this workshop aims to address the challenges of negative self-talk and catastrophic thinking, through the mind body connection to and coping with the emotional discomfort that comes with living a life in line with your values
